• Picasso Museum - This museum contains one of fthe most important collection of paintings, drawings and sketches from the early years of Pablo Picasso, especially those between 1895 and 1904. • Museum of Modern Art - The Modern Art Museum features a collection of sculptures , drawings, paintings, engravings, and decorative objects, harbors compositions from the Romantic period, 19th century realist paintings, especially by Fortuny, and offers an general view of the modernist period.

• Museum of Contemporary Art - This modern building was completed in 1995 and possess works by artists from the last 40 years. It is situated in the centre of Barcelona; it was designed by the American Richard Meier & Partners and its architectural style references to Modernism, it is also a well known spot for all kind of skateboarders.

• Frederic Marès Museum - This museum was founded and donated by the sculptor and collector Frederic Marès (1893-1991) in 1946 , it shows a series of Spain sculptures from pre-Roman times to the 19th century. There is also a section dedicated to charming objects of the past, including fans and holy water fonts/soups, called the Sentimental.

• City’s History Museum - It shows art as well as artifacts concerning with the heritage of Barcelona like excavated remains of ancient structures, documents, engravings, etc. Very nice place for people interested in Barcelona history, it shows Barcelona at different periods.

• Gaudi’s House-Museum - Interesting works and memorabilia of Antoni Gaudí are displayed, it is located into the Parc Güell; this house was designed by Francesc Berenguer, one of Gaudí help-architechts, it was finished in 1905 and occupied by Gaudí from 1906 to 1926. In December 1926 by testamentary, Gaudí ordered the house was sold and the resultant money was invested in the building of la Sagrada Família, in 1963 it bacame a museum.

• Museum of the Expiatory Temple of the Holy Family - This small museum is one of the most visited and well known in Barcelona, it is located in the church crypt of the temple and shows the history of its construction including photographs and personal objects belonging to Gaudí.
