Metro in Barcelona
The metro system in Barcelona could take you to most of the major sites, it's clean, punctual, air-conditioned and it counts with five different subway lines (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
The reduced rate T-1 ticket is good for 10 rides on the Metro, buses, and FGC urban trains, the T-2 ticket is also a reduced rate ticket good for 10 rides on the Metro and the FGC urban trains. The T-1 can be purchased in Savings Banks (Caixas), and the T-2 is available at both Savings Banks and metro stations.
The Metro runs from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Thursday; 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and the day before a holiday and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight.

Buses in Barcelona
Barcelona has a clean and efficient bus service; the principal bus station is the “Estació del Nord” which is near to the “Arc de Triomf” metro station.Taking a bus you can get any place into the city, but it is a little bit difficult to know how, fortunely, there are maps about bus routes on the bus Stops. Most of the bus lines run from of 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The price of the ticket is the same as the Metro and an dalso the T–1 ticket can be used
Taxis in Barcelona
Taxis are an easy and a cheap way to move around all the city, Official Barcelona Taxis are yellow and black and a green illuminated light on the top of the Taxi shows that it's available. Licensed Taxis have to charge you the amount displayed on the meter, nevertheless the average cost is about five euros and don’t forget, if you are carrying some luggage there may be a small surcharge.
